I was sceptical about spending £80 on a basic pedal bin, but it’s really well designed, the separate bin compartments have hand holds to easily take them in and out, and there are also thumb holes for if you need extra purchase. The bin itself is sturdy and well-made, the foot pedal is smooth and the lid closes softly too. It’s very nice to look at, one of the few bins I found without chrome or silver on it, so it fits in very well with our rustic kitchen. The only reason to give it 4 stars instead of 5 was that I felt £80 was a little on the steep side in terms of price. I think £60-65 would have been more appropriate, but it’s exactly what I was looking for, and is good quality, so I can’t really complain over £20 or so when a branded bin of similar design goes for over £100.
